Candy’s House

Last Sunday we went to a restaurant that B went with his friends. He said that it is a restaurant with good food. So we planned to have dinner there. Unfortunately, B’s friends were there too. Here came the nightmare, yup, you got it. Blabber, Blabber, Blabber~ They like to talk, so much, they blabbered so mcuh it took a long time to get ready to order.

At this moment, I was taking pictures with my cell fone. Here we go… we sat in the corner at the back of the room, so here is the whole veiw of this restaurant. And take a look the left of the pic… there was a mature man sit next to our table. His hands and legs are coverd with thick hair, but it is a little bit pity that he is a little bit thin. Anyways, he is kind of charming.

Here came the waitress with menus. The menus are special, because they use Disney cartoon books and change them into menus. The first several pages were the food and beravages they offer, then a short story with Disney famous charatars like Mikey, Donlad.

But I didnt read the story, because there was so much English Blabber alreayd swimming around in my brain that wouldn't go away, haha. The black and white dogs on the table are a saltshaker and black pepper. You can pour it out from their noses.

The first dish is free, a few chips with salsa. After we finished them, B asked for some more, but we waited for a long time til B went to the bar, threw the dish to them and said “Where the hell is our chip?” Kind of rude, wasnt he? I am used to it. :(

Here are the pictures of the food that we had that night.

Salad. Pretty normal, as usual I left the carrots and cucumbers. When the boss came to our table, even said to me with a sad sound, “oh, don’t like the carrots and cucumbers??”

Soup, cooked with onion and chicken(with lots of bones - -)

Bread, baked with butter. Smelled good and tasted good, too :)

Drink. Orange juice and Grapefruit green tea.

My dish, Texas hot chilli soup. There are yellow, green and red peppers(my favorite), onions(again), pork, beef, big red beans and black beans. The meat was tasty, soft and yummy. It was a little hot though, even though I asked them not to cook it too hot, but still tasted good.

B's dish, Rosemary Spring Chicken. When I tasted it, I wanted to run to the kicten to look for my mom. Because it totally tasted like the chicken soup with rice wine that my mom cooks every Chinese New Year. Trust me, there was no differents.

Dessert. Here came the boss again. She introduced what kind of snack we would have. When she was blabbering, we even didn't listen, just knocked our head and said , good, ok, thank you. And here are our snacks, a vinella cake with cream on top and a peanut butter cookie.

Last picture is of the entrance of restaurant. It looks like a East South Asian style house which is made of bamboos. Won't the roof leak when it rains?

In a word. I'd like to go there again, cause there is some food I want to try. But it's a little bit wired. It is an American restaurant, but some of food is not so typical. It tasted good anyway, haha.
